Saturday's FOTD
>> Monday, May 9, 2011
Hello Darlings! Havent dont one of these in awhile. Family parties have been ceaseless once again so there has been little time to do anything between all the cooking, cleaning and traveling. Here is a FOTD I did for my cousin's birthday/Pacqiuao&Mosley fight on Saturday. Can I just say that I L-O-V-E Pacqiuao?! He makes me incredibly proud of my Filipino heritage. Yes he is the eight division world champ but what makes me most proud is his relentless displays of humbleness, compassion and charity. I love how he uses his fame and profit from boxing to help the struggling of his hometown, and he's not just sending money over, he actually visits communities in need and hands out food and supplies in person. He also has a non profit in his name and participates in various relief efforts like charity runs and such. Mosley has done his share of charity work as well. He worked with PETA along with a couple other celebs to do a anti-dog fighting PSA - which if you are against it too (which you should be!) Please make your pledge to NOT support the dog fighting here.
Anyhoo, I can go on forever on how I love people who do charity work but then this wouldnt be a makeup blog anymore :) On to the FOTD! Here's what I used:

Wet N Wild MegaGlo Illuminating Powder in Starlight Bronze
>> Saturday, March 19, 2011
Hello again! Just wanted to do a quick post about a new highlighter Ive been using lately. Its called Starlight Bronze and its by Wet N Wild. I love highlighters, they give a perfect glow to your face and picture very well when applied. Wish I could say the same for when they are swatched. Its so hard to capture the true color of highlight powders since they blend so well with the skin!
Anyhoo, I love this one because it is very natural looking. I was a little skeptical that this was a highlighter when seeing the various shades of earth tones and reading the "bronze" in its title, but when applied all the colors together make for a beautiful golden glow-y shade. What I also like about this is that there is little fallout and it blends like buttah! Honestly, I dont see any cons except the bulkiness of the product, but thats something I dont really mind most of the time. I highly recommend this compared to the other highlighters I have tried

NYX Jazz Night Palette
>> Tuesday, February 22, 2011
Hey Y'all!
Last night I had a nice dinner with my family and did a makeup swap with my beautiful cousin Rachel I'm very happy with the products I ended up with because some I was planning to buy already. Case and point? The NYX Jazz Night Palette. This is the perfect piece to add to my NYX palette collection which includes the NYX Smoky Eye Palette and the Champagne and Caviar Palette. (click names for review)
Im my opinion, this palette is appropriately named and comes with rich cool tones and creamy darks. Every shadow is a shimmer so if youre a matte lover this palette is not for you. the colors of this palette remind me of this restaurant called "The Jazz Kitchen" at Downtown Disney which makes me love it even more :)
On to the pics...
