blogger award & update

Soooo happy to be back and reading everyones' blog! My fiance and I moved into our first place almost 3 weeks ago and we just got cable and internet yesterday!!! Finally flying the nest is such a mix of emotions - Im happy, homesick, stressed and anxious all at the same time. My advice to anyone that is moving out for the first time is:


1. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Its been 3 weeks and we still have unexpected expenses flying up outta no where. There will always be something you need whether it be towels, detergent, cleaning supplies etc...


2. If you havent been doing so already, work your ass out! We were sooooo incredibly sore the first week. I was as sore as I was when I went snowboarding for the first time, and trust me, that is S-O-R-E.


Lastly, just be organized and plan ahead as much as you can even if it seems like you're being ridiculously early. I packed all my clothes and makeup that I knew I wasn't going to breaking out anytime soon 2 months before the move. Also, try and set up cable and internet a week before you move, those guys get busy...Ugh I cant tell you how many headaches we've been through these past few weeks. In the end its all worth it though and we are truly blessed and happy to have a place to call our own

I feel everyone should have equal marriage rights.

Either than that, I was never the "Oh I want a fairytale princess kind of wedding"  type of girl. I just wanna get in, get out, and start our lives together...no use spending down payment money on ONE day when you could be investing in something that lasts.

3. How do you feel about people who give great advice, but cant seem to take it and apply it to their life?

I I do that so I think those people are awesome.

lol, jk....haha but in all seriousness, in order to learn, some people just have to do it the hard way.

 

4. What is THE most important thing you want to accomplish before death?

Yes. I have a very "detached" personality. Im not someone who needs closure or anything so its easy for me to forgive and forget....and if someone really hurts me, I have no problem just doing the forgetting part.

6. How much can you take from a person you love and cant stop loving?

If I truly love them there is no limit to what I can take 

 

7. What would you buy if i gave you $1,000.lol.

I would "invest" it at the poker table

3 things I love about myself:

1. My knowledge of poker :)

2. My height...I'm short (5ft) and it sucks sometimes but for the most part it works out for me like if I want to go explore a cave or maneuver through a crowd lol

3. I like how I don't really grow a lot of body hair (Asian blood?) I only shave my legs like once a month if necessary and for some weird reason the hair only grows on my shins. My theory is that my freaking legs are so gawddang thick the hair follicles cant break through the layer of lard..lmao JK!

Beautiful Blogger Awards

This is sooooo long overdue! Last week I received the beautiful blogger award from NYCSh0paholic. Click on her name and check her blog out! She is a very beautiful blogger that does some great posts and hauls. Her latest posts includes a post about coastal scents and lush!

So along with this blog award, I am supposed to name 7 random facts about myself and they are:

1. Ive been watching CHARMED almost everyday for like the last 4 years. I got hooked on it one day and ever since then I couldn't stop. My best friend got me the whole 8 seasons on DVD and I watch 2 episodes a day. I'm actually watching it now on TV :)


2. When I was younger my parents signed me up for so many activities, but I never stayed long enough to foster any real talent from them. I pretty much left after performing once. The only thing I stayed in for a couple years was Tae Kwon Do. Some of the other things I joined were the Chess Club, Hula/Tahitian dancing, Hip Hop Dancing, and Capoeira

3. I still play pokemon, I mean hardcore. Ill pre-order the games in advance and lock myself in solitude until I finish them (lol maybe that's why I haven't been posting). I'm currently playing Pokemon HeartGold & Chansey pictured below is my fave :)


4. I'm a freak about my belly button. I wont let anyone touch it, not even my fiance. I guess I just feel if someone puts their finger there, its like they're touching my insides.

5. The last taste in my mouth always has to be something sweet. This is why I'm such a fat ass! Even if I eat some chips I have to have like a scoop of ice cream after just so I have that sweet taste in my mouth


6. I love animals, very passionately BUT I hate all non human primates. Monkeys, gorillas, lemurs...they all make me sick.


7. I am and always will be in love with Michael Jackson.

Yes! My cousin just married the love of her life whom she met at a club/bar. I think it depends what kind of person you are. Not all skeezy people go to bars, some just like to dance and be w/ friends

Should people go to bars to find love?
Not the first place I would suggest, depending on what kind if "love" you re looking for

Or should they go to places where people who like what they like hang out?
Why wasn't this combined w/ the previous question? I believe love finds you first

Should men and women be expecting the other to buy the other gifts?
No but personally I expect the thought of it when appropriate

Who should wear the pants in the relationship or should it be a mutual give and take?
I prefer NOT to wear then pants. Im in control of mostly everything else in my life so I would like to be controlled in relationships. Its a mutual give and take what I am in now though :)

Five random facts about me...

1. Ive only had one boyfriend my whole entire life. We've been together since we were 13 and he recently (well not that recently) proposed to me on Valentines!


2. Its gross but I'm double-jointed all over my body. Sometimes, I strongly consider dropping out of school and losing weight to try and become a Cirque de Soliel dancer. I am so serious too. If you're ever in Vegas, you MUST see "O"

3. I'm SUPER accident prone. I went to Seattle with one of my best friends to go snowboarding the first time. I ended up bruising my tailbone really bad, not from snowboarding, but from slipping in the parking lot on the way back lol

4.I love practical jokes, but Ill only play the ones where everyone involved can laugh. No bucket of water over the door, no bruised ego, no ruined relationship or any mean ass shit like that. I just get cracks out of making people go, "wtf?!" ex. I told my fiance that I have a sexy picture to give him of me completely shirtless and here is the pic...


5. My prayers at night last for like a whole hour. I make sure I pray for the littlest things like, thank you for not making me hit a red light when I was in a rush today for work and thank you I got to see my friends today. I know it sounds lame, but I think its important to pray for everything, because you never know when its going to be taken away. I'm extremely blessed :)
