Milani Secret Cover Concealer (update)
>> Tuesday, May 11, 2010
I just wanted to do a quick update on my post for Milani's Secret Cover Concealer. You can read the original post here. Ive been using this for a couple days now so I think some adjustments need to be made on the CONS section in my original post.
I wrote that one of the CONS of the concealer was that it condensates and doesn't last long. Boy was I wrong about that. This concealer lasts extremely long, and it is very waterproof. I actually have difficulty removing this when washing my face. What I will say about this concealer is that it is temperature-sensitive. When there is a lot of humidity in the air, the concealer will start to condensate and become creamy, and when the air is dry and the temperature cooler, the consistency of the concealer hardens and does not produce any condensation. Today was a cool day with little humidity so when I put this concealer on this morning it was very hard. It was difficult to apply with a concealer brush as I usually do so I used my fingers. Although hard this concealer did blend quite well around my eyes without me tugging the skin or what not. Hot or cold, this concealer still performs very well, I would even count that as a negative.
Also, I would note that the concealer only comes in 6 shades, and the one I purchased which is the Warm Beige is the lightest one they have. So if you're lighter than NW25/NC30, there may not be a shade for you. You also have to be weary of shopping for it online, as the color picture online does not match the color it is in person.
Here is the picture online for Warm Beige.
You can see the extreme difference in color
All in all I still highly recommend this concealer. Seriously, I cannot stress enough, if you are NW25-NC30 get this concealer!!! Its that amazing
Please note that I am not affiliated with the brand in any way shape or form and I bought this with my own money (They should be paying me for this shit though :P)
