>> Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Hey lovelies,

Hope you had a wonderful Valentines! I spent mine eating at The Old Spaghetti Factory with 3 of my besties! It was delicious! Im already craving to go back but unfortunately the closest one is 40min away :(

Anyways, I havent done a FOTD in so long! There were so many times I got all dolled up this month but I was so rushed each time that I couldnt take any pictures. I hate neglecting this blog! Anyhoo, here the list of cruelty-free cosmetics that I used:

Face:
MAC Studio Finish Concealer
Revlon ColorStay in 350
Amuse Highlighter
ELF Blush & Bronzing duo (bronzer for contour)

Cheeks:
NYX Blush in Pinched

Eyes:
ELF eyeshadow primer
MAC eyeshadow in Spectacle of Yourself (my FAVE!!!)
MAC eyeshadow in Unflappable
Lashes from Beauties Factory

Eyebrow:
ELF eyebrow kit in Taupe

Lips:
NYX lip liner in Natural
MAC Lipstick in Pink Noveau
Clinique lip gloss (forgot the name but if anyone wants to know, Ill post it up)

Excuse my red eyes! I usually wear toric lenses and these contacts are not toric so my eyes look a little strained here :/

The lashes I use are super cheap lashes that I get from beauties factory (Ive been using them for years now) and theyre great, BUT as you can see in the pics, they have a shine to them because the are not made from real human hair. Im thinking of switching back to Ardell but the price for these is hard to beat (10 pairs for like 6 bucks!)

Thanks for reading!!!

photo taken from TasteOfHome.com

Hey loves! just wanted to share my go-to quick dip recipe that I got from Taste of Home. They have the recipe online that you can find here but I make mines a little differently as I will explain below. I know it sounds weird but this dip is ALWAYS a hit. Best of all, its super cheap and super fast to make

Ingredients:
1 package (8oz) of cream cheese
2 cans of chunk white chicken
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
1/2 cup ranch
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
tortilla chips of your choice (I prefer flour)

Directions:
 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees
 - Spread cream cheese in an even layer into an ungreased 11x7 baking dish (or any rectangular dish)
 - Layer the chicken, then buffalo wing sauce, the ranch dressing
 - top with cheese
 - bake for 20-22 minutes until cheese is hot and bubbly
 - serve with chips!

This is definitely worth trying so I hope you all enjoy!
