DO NOT BUY THESE BRANDS!!!

>> Sunday, May 2, 2010

I just wanted to touch on the whole animal testing issue. I am STRONGLY against it. Its sick. How vain do you have to fucking be to kill an animal just to gain some shallow cosmetic satisfaction? I hate anyone who is okay with animal testing and animal cruelty in general. I passionately hate them.

Now the only way acceptable to me for an animal to die at the hands of a human (aside from self defense...I guess) is if the human is to eat the animal. Nothing else. Anatomically our bodies are designed to eat meat. A diet solely based on vegetables is not natural. It is the way of life.

I'm not going to show any cruel pictures, I know how heart wrenching those commercials are, all I ask is that you please pass this word on in any way you can. You don't have to link to my blog or anything, this isn't some kind of scheme to get my blog out there, I just sincerely want the word out. I see so many ladies using products from companies that test on animals and to be honest, Ive bought from those companies before I knew too but if I had known sooner, they would have never got a dime from me. Please, I beg of you, pass this on.

Instead of listing the brands that you should buy, I listed the brands you SHOULD NOT buy. Keep in mind, there are more brands than this that do animal cruelty so one minute of research before your next purchase shouldn't hurt. I know this list is daunting, so just think about the brands you use the most and see if its on here or not. Also, to find the list yourself please go to:

Omg, Neutrogena tests on animals? How awful! I buy their healthy skin liquid makeup here and there, but not anymore. Do you know if Victoria's Secret tests on animals? I believe they do.
Take care,
xoxo Jenna

No VS doesnt test on animals, I think they products say it on the box.
This product was not tested on animals...thats what I read on my VS bodywash

Thank you so much for reading and commenting ladies, that really means a lot to me, especially about this issue.

and thanks Carla for the info on VS, I love them so thats cool they dont test

jalyssacakex - yeah I know right? Neutrogena AND Clean and Clear both test on animals. I after I fuond that out I switched my cleaning regimen to Clinique. Its a little pricey but they give a lot more product than drug store brands and they work better so I think it evens out

Thanks for the comments and awareness ladies!!!

@ritalme, I love your blog too! I tried to comment you but there were loading issues :( Ill try again when I get on a different computer

@pop champagne, Me too unfortunately. You can add Sally Hansen to that list as well! It really sucks to have to throw out my things from these companies but I just have to remember to not be selfish and stand by my beliefs. My fiance and I just fought over this b/c he uses Old Spice and I told him when we move out and I start buying house stuff Im not going to buy him his body wash and he can buy it if he wants (even though I would be pissed) but hes going to have to go out of his way to get it haha
